Burnsville’s Valley Chiropractic Associates
welcomes new chiropractor to our practice...

Dr. Ryan D. Hetland

Introducing Burnsville chiropractor, Ryan D. Hetland, D.C., Gonstead Practitioner

Dr. Hetland, a graduate of Northwestern Chiropractic College, has specialty training in the Gonstead technique. He chose to build his new practice in his native Burnsville community. Dr. Hetland’s focus on wellness has complimented his interests in sports injury and occupational health. He is certified in the Wellness Practice Certification Program, the first and only recognized Continued Education Wellness certification program in the chiropractic discipline.

Valley Chiropractic has made a commitment to community service, and Dr. Hetland is an asset to that commitment – he loves speaking to audiences on topics of wellness and care of the spine. Dr. Hetland is on the Ambassador Committee for the Burnsville Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the Gonstead Clinical Studies Society (GCSS), and is a member of the International Chiropractic Association (ICA).

Dr. Hetland’s practice includes helping his patients get well and stay well for a lifetime through specific chiropractic healthcare. It also includes teaching healthy eating, moving, and thinking. Thoughts translate into behaviors and lifestyle behaviors become the foundation for wellness and prevention. His practice includes working with the entire family. “There are two fundamental questions everyone has to ask at some point in their life regarding health”, he says, “and they are, ‘Why are we sick?’ and ‘What is required to get and stay well?"

In his personal life, Dr. Hetland and his wife Natalie practice what they teach – they serve their associations and stay healthy by playing in our great outdoors. He loves to play tennis, golf, water-ski, bike, fish and he enjoys gymnastics and softball.

Valley Chiropractic is pleased to expand our practice with the addition of Dr. Ryan Hetland.

Dr. Geary Asks some important questions of interest to Burnsville residents - Chiropractor Burnsville Dr. Geary Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
What can a chiropractor do for asthma?

Problems in the spine can produce problems in the organs and tissues controlled by the affected nerves—including those to the lungs and bronchial tubes. Find out how chiropractic care has helped those with asthma.
